Megan's room

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a roommate to sublet a vacant room in my 2BR apartment in Brooklyn.

The apartment is in a pre-war building in Flatbush/Prospect Lefferts gardens, a five minute walk to the nearest 2/5 station, about 30 minutes to get to Manhattan. It is a spacious 2BR with living room, kitchen, and bath. No central A/C but there is a window unit that comes in the room. No laundry in building, but there are multiple laundromats within a block or two radius of the building.

Rent is currently $1050/month excluding utilities, the rent may be raised in August when renewing the current lease but it is a stabilized building so the increase should be minor.

Note the bed frame is not included with the room, room is unfurnished.

I’m 33, work in the airline industry full time, and I have two cats - so please be cat friendly! I enjoy spending time in the apartment but I do see friends on the weekends. I love traveling and learning languages, and my other hobby is learning how to ice skate.
