I’m looking for 1 roommate to share an unfurnished 2 bedroom 1 bathroom I got in Ukrainian Village with me:

– Year-long lease, starts August 16

– $1,150/month + utilities for private ~8x10 room, shared bathroom (snow clearing, water, trash included in rent)

– 1100 sf with lots of sun, in-unit laundry, large front porch, indoor backporch/nook, and the building’s backyard.

– 3 min to Chicago ave bus, 3 min to Western bus, a few min to Grand bus (all of which connect to the Blueline).

– Street parking available without permit needed.

– Super close to grocers, coffeeshops, bars, restaurants, and the park. On a nice neighborhood street.

– Easy access to West Town, Wicker, Humboldt.

I’m 24 and I’d like to live with a woman around my age or a bit older, preferably not an undergrad. Gotta be LGBTQ+ friendly. I do have two cats, who aren’t smoking/vaping friendly (kitty asthma lol), so I can’t do any additional animals.

I’ll be partially working from home.

I’m from Chicago and am starting my clinical psych PhD there this fall, but spent the last few years studying and working at UCLA. I like making unnecessarily complicated cocktails & mocktails, thrifting, architecture tours, concerts, and swapping recipes and gossip with my current roomies. I’m super excited to move back to Chicago and I’d love to live with someone I can explore the area with!
