I have an extra bedroom and extra bathroom available in a 2,000 sq ft, 2 story home I share with my 11 yr old son and 2 Siberian Huskies (super friendly). The house has 4 bedrooms total, plus a spacious loft upstairs and a 2 car garage for storage, so you won’t feel crowded at all in my home. Parking is in the driveway or at the curb. I also have a treadmill in the garage you are welcome to use while living here. Super nice washer and dryer (with steam functions) are owned by me and available for use. Smoking is all done outside, including my own smoking, no exeptions. House is located in the Rita Ranch area (Rita & Nexus) and neighborhood is fairly quite. Rent includes electric/water/gas/internet. I do not have cable but I do have streaming services like Vudu/paramount+/Netflix that you are welcome to use. There is also a spacious back yard with patio set to relax on at night. Lastly, the home has a nice kitchen (supply your own food or go in on groceries with me) and 1/2 bath downstairs, as well as a dining area and nice foyer with chandelier lighting. This is a great deal for everything included. The security deposit is non-negotiable, non-refundable and covers potential damage, lost/stolen/broken property, and cleaning expenses upon you moving out.

I work full time at a mental health care clinic in the therapy department, and my 11 yr old son spends half of each week with me and half with his dad. My son is quiet and spends his free time gaming. We are looking for someone who just wants a short term rental situation and is not looking to redecorate or change our home in any way. I also would prefer no sleep-overs by boyfriends, as these situations quickly turn into the boyfriend trying to live here as well, which will not be accepted. I will vet potential applicants very carefully. I have zero tolerance for drug use, including pot smoking, in the house due to my son. Criminal activity will not be tolerated either and I will not hesitate to put a stop to any issues I suspect occurring. With that being said, I am extremely laid back and cool to live with and am just looking to help someone who needs short-term housing.
