We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind person for a live-in position with a kind woman with a developmental disability in her Goleta home. Responsibilities include:

-Support the lives and needs of the individual -General house management (shopping, cooking, cleaning, some paperwork) -Assistance with medical appointments and medication management -Explore/create new experiences and fun activities -Collaborate with a team of support and provide training Requirements: -Own a reliable car -A good sense of humor :) -A good communicator and strong organizational skills

Free room and board. This position offers your own room with ample free time. We encourage people to pursue their own passions and personal endeavors because we believe that self care is an important factor of taking care of others. Because you will be working where you live, this is not a typical “work” environment. We want someone who is flexible and can go with the flow. Looking for an active and creative person to befriend and assist a lovely woman (with a developmental disability). She is an active artist and an avid walker who is looking for a live-in housemate to share meals, walks, giggles, and stories in Goleta! She enjoys trying healthy new recipes which promote her healthy lifestyle . In addition, she’s quite the artist and would love someone who would create new pieces with her. We are ideally looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude and a silly sense of humor.
