Private Room For Rent

We offer amenities a lot of places don’t. This is a private room rental for a single person. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with just two other rooms. This is a medium sized room (12x13) with a walk in closet for $845 which is ready now as well and a huge room with a small bedroom attached, two large closets and a working fireplace for $985. Roomers get $10 off of their rent for paying up to one day early and $50 off their 12th month for paying on time all year. Heat, electricity and internet access is included. Each room has a private fridge. We cover grounds keep, tri-weekly cleaning service for common areas (you just pick up after your own cooking and bathroom use to keep it nice for the next person), shoveling/snow removal and some streaming services for the largest rooms. The smallest room has its own sink (perfect for artists/art students). We are within walking distance to all the city has to offer, being only a couple of blocks from stores, laundry, parks, restaurants, grocery, pharmacies (and anything else commonly needed), the Y and the Capitol and we are only about 200 feet from the Lithgow Library. The road we are on is very quiet the majority of the time. It’s also only 5 miles from UMA. We’ve never had to keep anyone’s security deposit. No pets. No smoking. No expensive lighting/hydro or tanks/tanked plants/animals without written agreements. We respect our tenants. If they don’t damage our place, we don’t take their deposit. We became landlords because of our bad experiences with landlords and aim to change how that business is conducted. We do have an application process and we do conduct credit/background checks. You may contact previous tenants to verify their experiences with us. We are an LGBT safe space. Smoking is outside only. Vaping in private spaces only is OK. Two month minimum. First, last and security due up front. No exceptions. We cannot accept Section 8 at this time, but we’re working on it.

Currently the 3 room rentals are unoccupied. My wife and I live in a different area of the building but we are on premises. We have an employee who covers common area cleaning three times per week as an amenity and you’ll see her around quite often. She’s very nice. The previous roomers left as they bought a home. Most of us are introverts, so if you’re an introvert and pretty quiet, LGBT, like gaming or art in your free time etc. you’ll probably fit right in.
