Private, fully furnished room with large bed, new mattress, and matching dresser. Own bathroom included. I own the apartment and live there full time in the master bedroom. The kitchen and living room are furnished and shared. Internet, TV, and utilities are included in the rent. Roughly 200 yard walk to US1 and LA Fitness and Aldi’s, Pompano Park is roughly 1/4 mile away, and 1.5 miles to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a 10 min radius. The building is quiet with an outdoor breezeway, laundry facilities (no units in each apartment), elevator, and a pool. The unit is an end unit so there is more privacy than other units. Will have to submit an application to HOA and interview with them prior to acceptance. Please respect reasonable weekday quiet hours as this is an apartment building.

I have 2 cats approximately 2 years old so do not apply if you are unwilling to live with 2 cats. They are skittish of new people at first, but they do not hiss or attack. They will hide from you until they warm up to you over time. I have most furniture plastic wrapped to discourage them from scratching. I will remove the plastic wrapping once they learn to not scratch the furniture (as much as I can train them). I use plastic mats for the table to keep them from scratching the surface. I keep a supply of cleaning equipment, such as vacuum, mop, and cleaning chemicals, readily available and regularly clean the unit.

I’m 29, single, work 8-5 office job, fairly laid back but I’m responsible and expect the same of you (clean up dishes, clean bedroom and bathroom, laundry, food, ect.). I travel a lot on weekend fishing trips (sometimes last minute) so if I’m not around and you need me, please text/call. I’m pretty active and outdoorsy (fishing, boating, gym, kayaking). I cook often. I’m not too loud and hope the same of you.

Guests are welcome as long as they respect the furniture and rules of the HOA. No pets or absolutely no smoking (tobacco nor weed). Prefer 600+ credit score with STABLE job. Really prefer someone under 40 without complicated relationships. Male or female roommates are welcome. I’ve had a female roommate before and can provide a reference if requested. No small children.
