Single room with shared bathroom available for rent for working professionals. Monthly lease with all utilities, Google Fiber Wi-Fi, trash, included in the rent. Main TV has HBO, Netflix, Amazon, Formula 1, and other major streaming services included. Safe street parking available, garage parking for small cars or motorcycles can be discussed. Fully stocked kitchen and available cabinet, fridge, and pantry space for your items. I’m looking for quality long term professional roommates and want you to feel like you live in a home. I live here and want you to enjoy living here too!

The room is near the front of the house with a private hallway. There is a bathroom in the hall that will be shared with one other room. The room for rent is 10 feet by 10 feet, with a closet. It only has one exterior wall and is the quietest room in the house.

The house was just professionally cleaned, and the carpets were professionally cleaned by Hart’s Carpet Cleaning. The back yard has a large table, lighting, charcoal grill, and Blackstone griddle. Raised beds are also available for gardening. The neighborhood has private community pool access, and a taqueria and food truck at the gas station 2 blocks down the street.

No pets, no smoking or drug use, no parties. Our neighborhood is very friendly, and I know most of my nearby neighbors.

As your other roommate in the house, I am in my mid-thirties and have lived in Austin for 9 years. I was former Army in the Honor Guard, then got a Physics degree and worked in Semiconductor engineering here in Austin for 7 years. I am currently finishing music school for piano (there is a piano in the house), and substitute teach Physics part time. I’m very easy going, and do a variety of outdoor activities like running, mountain biking, and camping, and am a lifelong motorcyclist. I did a month-long trip via motorcycle to Glacier and 5 other National Parks last year.

I have people sign a month-to-month lease because it ensures we treat each other better. I want you to stay as long as you want, but don’t want you to feel trapped. Also, if for any reason you are not comfortable here, you can move. It also ensures I will treat you as well as possible because I want you to stay and keep paying rent.
