4 bedroom house in Nob Hill. Great view of the mountains. Can walk to Central & Carlisle in about 15 minutes.Your bedroom is the main bedroom- unfurnished, it has its own small bathroom with shower, a small walk-in closet, fireplace, and sliding glass door to the backyard. Home has Washer/Dryer & Dishwasher. Minisplits for AC & Heat (and wall heaters for extra heat in the winter). Solar. I own the house and am continuously making it better in small ways. There is another room in the center of the house that we can share for storage mostly- I use it currently for workout machines that you’re welcome to use, and storage shelves for bulk food items and camping gear. The other two rooms are my office/sewing room & my bedroom. There’s a projector for streaming shows in the living room, a decent sized kitchen, and a great yard with two areas that are screened in during the summer months to protect from mosquitos. There’s also a garage for bikes & tools, and a large driveway that can accommodate 2 cars.

About me: I work from home for a local nonprofit. I enjoy quilting, gardening, singing, and hiking, and am 420 friendly a couple nights a week (smoking outside only or, more typically, edibles). I have a few friends that live on this street that would be happy to include you in game night, pizza night, movie night, dog walks, hiking, camping, etc. I love podcasts (and listen to them with my headphones on if someone else is home). I have lots of houseplants. I’m working on myself and go to therapy- I like communicating and being up front about needs and boundaries. I have progressive values. I’m vaccinated. I wake up pretty early, though usually get out of bed around 7, and go to bed around 10.

About my dog: She is a small/medium sized dog who is pretty quiet most nights and likes to spend her days people watching from the front porch, learning new tricks, or going on walks. She would not adjust well to another pet in the home, unfortunately, but would warm up to a new roommate pretty quickly and loves to be pet and cuddled once she trusts someone.

About you: 30s-early 40s, working on yourself as well and happy to communicate about your needs and boundaries. Ideally you don’t work from home as that’s a lot of time together, ha. Progressive values. A good roommate to me means respectful of common spaces, reasonably quiet when the other is sleeping, and down for the occasional game/move night or shared meal. An interest in gardening is a plus- plenty of space for more veggies and plants to be grown. Loves dogs.

Move-in is flexible. Lease durations are flexible. I am waiting to find the right fit for a roommate (I am recently divorced). I have a couple of projects to do on the room first, like replace the accordion style door with a real door and clean the carpet once the room has been cleared out.
