Looking for 1 roommate to move into a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house located in Mantua, West Philly (right next to University City). This property is leased by City Wide Realty and the lease renews every 6 months. If you decide to move in, there’s an online application through their portal and the fee is $65. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and a basement for storage on the ground floor. The house is located 15 minutes walking distance from Drexel campus and 25 minutes from Penn campus. The 34th MFL subway station is about 12 minutes away, SEPTA bus 38 and 31 run very close to the house and there is also an IndeGo bike station a block away from the house.
Room is $500 per month to rent. The water is added on to the rent and it is an additional $75 per month, and it will be split according to the number of roommates. If you were to move in and sign the lease, we would require a security deposit, the first, and last month of rent. The utilities are paid separately (minus the water which is included with the rent) and include electricity, gas, and Verizon Fios internet, which costs between $70-120ish per person every month depending on AC and heating use. Cats are ok but you will have to pay a pet deposit to the landlord. Not sure what the price of that is at the moment. Landlord doesn’t allow dogs unfortunately. LGBTQ+ welcome and I would love to live with people with similar interests for lifestyle compatibility. People with active lifestyles, musicians and martial artists preferred.
