Hello! I am looking for one housemate for a spacious ranch-style house in Boulder, near 55th & Arapahoe. Quiet little neighborhood with close access to bus routes, bike trails, etc. Lots of sunlight, common areas furnished in global/artsy/boho style, driveway parking, and large fenced backyard. House has some additional storage for seasonal stuff, camping gear, etc.

COST: $1,350/month for huge room with private half bath, and covers water, trash, recycling, and compost. You pay ½ of utilities (high speed fiber internet @ $32/month and electric). Utilities are pretty minimal–house is energy efficient. Last two months electric ran about $45/month. Looking for a roommate to move in here either August (this month) or September, and stay until July 2024 when lease renews–option for renewal if we’re a great fit, and lease length can be flexible if needed.

AVAILABLE ROOM: Largest bedroom of the house, with wood floors and PRIVATE HALF BATH with storage. Large closet with some shelving, some beautiful hanging Moroccan lamps (I can remove if you want), and 2 large windows with mountain views that get plenty of sun. Available unfurnished but I can provide some furnishing (dresser, lamp, art, hamper, etc.) if needed.

AMENITIES: Washer and dryer, radiant heat and A/C, fully equipped kitchen, bath tub with dual-head shower. Super high speed fiber internet. Large, secure mailbox. Two fireplaces. Exercise/health stuff to share, like yoga wheel, weights, & punching bag. Lots of open space for dancing/movement, etc!

Pets: NO extra animals. I’m sorry—the landlords are strict on this, as I already have a dog and a cat. My dog is smart, well-trained, playful, and sweet. My cat is also friendly. I’m specifically looking for someone who’d be willing to help let my dog out while I’m in class or at work!

I am 33, a graduate student studying psychology, pronouns she/her. I enjoy mindfulness, direct communication, dancing, climbing, martial arts, time in nature, travel/adventure/random fun events with my friends, art projects, meditation, and self-growth. I stay pretty busy/active, so a roommate who is similarly motivated would be great! LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-friendly home.

House is also 420 & psy-friendly, although I’m a student/young professional so sleep and quiet times are important. Looking for a roommate who is open-minded, compassionate, responsible, will share chores, is comfortable with direct communication, and willing to resolve conflict as needed.
