As you can see from the pictures it is a single-wide trailer home. It’s right by the Wal-Mart.

I need a roommate around the beginning of May-June. The rent is 600 a month. Utilities (water, electric, trash) swing between 120-130 bucks a month each depending on the weather. We rely on window units and space heaters in the winter. It keeps the bills lower. I am renting the room at the back of the house. It is medium/small-ish (11 and a half by 11 with a small cubby) and has a ceiling fan. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small music studio in the house that you can have access to if you like.

The house has internet only, no cable. It’s 30 a month. You have your own bathroom and there is a washer and dryer. There’s a dresser with five drawers and a computer desk of mine you can use if you want.

So far, the landlord has never failed to return someone’s deposit.

I have a dog who was terrified by one roommate’s cat, but not so that she attacked the cat. But TBH I would rather not try the cat/dog experiment again. If you have a dog, we’ll have to see if Boo and your dog get along. There is a dog door that goes to the fenced-in backyard.

I am a carbon-based life form who is still furious that the government hauled my flying saucer from the New Mexico desert before I was able to return with the parts to fix it and leave this dying capitalist planet. I am a musician and am in a goth/punk band and write music using sequencers and computers. I grew up on metal, punk, goth, new wave, industrial, experimental and psychedelic music. I am into nerdy things like graphic novels and anime and various fantasy/sci-fi media. Right now I am OBSESSED with “Hazbin Hotel” and that’s not likely to change anytime soon LOL. I have a degree in psychology and wrote a book about America’s broken mental health system.

I keep to myself and mostly hide in my room, so I am very easy to live with as long as you respect my boundaries, but I would love a roommate who likes to have a good time and binge-watch anime and sci-fi and fantasy with me. I don’t do ‘sitcoms’ or ‘sports’ and I think people who are into such things are sus.

I’ve been in the goth scene for a long time, so by default I have also been a member of the LGBTQ community. I’m an AMAB enby and absolutely a friend to the transgender community. I identify as queer in both in the way H.P. Lovecraft meant it: odd, weird, alien, strange, and, you know, in the queer way.

One last thing, even though I am Gen X, I DO NOT want to live with anyone my age. Every roommate I’ve had who is my age has turned out to be terrible. I have stayed in contact with and remained friends with my previous millennial/Gen Z roommates, and I will give you their numbers for references.
