Hello! I’m looking for someone to take over my current roommates room. I have a very sweet home in the Alkali Flats area in downtown Sacramento. The apartment is a 2 bed 1 bath duplex with in unit washer and dryer plus central ac. The house is upstairs with a little balcony. The spot is spacious with tons of natural light. The bedroom is the bigger one of the two and has a massive walk in closet. Looking for a self aware and considerate roommate. I’d love for us to get along and would be down to hang out every once in a while. In my downtime I’m cooking, baking or chilling on the couch, barely in my room. So you’re gonna see a lot of my face lol. I would prefer someone around my age (29) and a woman but open to a man if the fit is right. I work 12 hour overnight shifts as an EMT so my schedule is all over the place. My current roommate works a typical 9-5 and we haven’t had any issues considering our opposite schedules. I have a sweet pitty mix named Rue who’s just a massive couch potato. So hopefully you’ll be okay with a dog that will spend most of her time following you around. A dog can be considered but sadly I’m allergic to cats so I can’t live with one. Despite currently renting I believe in investing in your space and making it fit your personality and style, so I’m always making little improvements around the house. My current project is adding some new plants to the front yard. I have worked to make this home as welcoming and comfortable as I can and I would like to have someone that has a similar outlook. The room will be available June 1st. Rent is 1,100 and utilities typically come out to about 150. Let me know if this sounds like a good fit and we can go from there!

I would say I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert, I love my alone time but also love hosting and having my friends over for a dinner party or game night. Not a big party-er and would prefer someone who isn’t as well.
