West 115th Street

The room is a 12’ x 11’ space with a 5.5’ long closet behind sliding mirror doors and immediate access to a bathroom that is shared with one other housemate and the occasional guest from the guest room/office across the hall. It is furnished with a comfortable queen bed and nightstand, curtains, spacious desk and chair, and a floor lamp. 6 month lease with month to month option after that.

The common space of the house is freshly remodeled and features an open floor plan with a vast record collection, workout equipment (including a rowing machine), and a beautiful kitchen waiting to be used. Brand new central heat and air, and appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, drier). There is a half bathroom and laundry room as well down the hallway opposite to where the bedroom is. The backyard space is part of a continuing effort to make improvements to the house and so is a little less polished than the inside, but already features a fire pit open for use.

The location is very convenient with access to the 105 within a 2-3 minute drive and a 12 minute walk to public transportation. Lots of restaurants, groceries, and other conveniences nearby, many at a 5 minute walk, including a gym. Street parking is super easy to find.

Pablo and Claire live in the master suite in the opposite side of the house, and Marco will move into the room next to you on May 12th. Pablo (28) is a musician and educator, Claire (28) is a chemical engineer, and Marco (28) is an aerospace engineer. Funky (m, 5yo, 16lbs pomeranian mix) is a very sweet and social little boy who you will fall in love with immediately. He unfortunately does not always get along with other animals, so no other pets please. We keep a peaceful home (musical activities occur in detached music studio) where we generally like to cook while listening to records. Looking for friendly relaxed roomies who are easy to get along with but can enjoy their own company as the rest of the roomies often like to keep to themselves after long work days and keep busy on weekends. No parties, but you are encouraged to share the common space with your guests while respecting the other roomies’ schedules and privacy. We would really like to get to know you a little bit before agreeing to anything, so please be prepared to drop by if seriously interested for a quick meet and greet with Pablo and Claire and so you can see the house!
