Unfurnished room and private full bathroom in beautiful old Thousand Oaks house in a very nice neighborhood, close to Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Westlake Village. The room is 10’ x 11’, has tons of natural light and mirrored closeted doors. Original hardwood floors throughout the house, large kitchen with a view of the (huge) garden and orange orchard, dining room, living room and laundry onsite. I’m renting the lower floor of the house, and you’d share the living areas and kitchen fridge with only me. Landlady pays for water; all other utilities are shared per capta.

I’m a civil engineer in my late 20’s, recently moved to California from Brazil to work for the County in water and sanitation. My bedroom is the one with the blue curtains in the photos. I enjoy cooking, art, reading, and trying to be healthy and productive. The house has two upper rooms that are larger and have their own living areas and kitchenettes, as well as an ADU occupied by an older lady who shares the laundry room with us. All residents are female. I moved in only this February, with the intent of subletting the second room and bathroom to someone in a similar stage of life as me. I’m looking for a roommate who is responsible and clean, communicates well, and is an all-around considerate and kind person.
