Andrew's room

A room for is available for June-Mid October in a spacious, clean, and luxurious Lakewood apartment. 1 month would be offered for free to the right person. I am moving out of Colorado and am looking to replace myself in a space shared by one other roommate. The space is available June 1 or a bit earlier (no charge).

The Apartment: It’s a really nice townhome featuring two levels. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a large bathroom. Your room features a spacious walk-in closet and the bedroom is sizeable enough for a queen bed, desk, etc. The downstairs has an additional bathroom, kitchen, and living area with enough space for a desk (currently with a WFH setup). Bonus: there is also a garage with ample storage space! The apartment comes furnished (except for your room) by the other roommate who is very generous with his furniture/items (kitchen utensils, chairs, etc.)

The Location: The apartment is situated within a gated community in Lakewood right next to Bear Greek Greenbelt where there are ample opportunities for biking, running, etc. Downtown Denver is about a 20 minute drive depending on traffic and I-70 is highly accessible so you can get to the mountains fairly quick! You are also walking distance to one of the state’s best pie shops!

The Roommate: You would share the space with a super friendly and considerate guy in his twenties who enjoys most typical Colorado activities and is currently training for an Ironman. He works nights in logistics. He has been super good to me since I moved to Colorado, so it is important that I make sure a replacement is a good fit. He is looking for someone who is clean, pays rent on time, does not smoke, and is generally responsible.

Process and Incentive: The apartment is available June 1 but an earlier move-in is possible. Rent is $1,255 with utilities at ~$100-150 per month (electric and cable only). As an incentive for the right person, I am offering to pay for one month of rent (June) in addition to whatever days applicable if an earlier move-in is preferred. You would sign onto a lease that extends through October 21, 2023. A simple background check is required by the management company in addition to an income check.
