About the room
This is a lower-floor corner-lot duplex with a ton of windows, a big backyard with lots of garden space, free laundry in the basement, a ton of storage, and a recently remodeled kitchen. It’s just off Minnehaha- close enough that you can see the bus stop for route 7 from the window, but set back far enough from the street that it’s pretty quiet. The lease starts August 1, but you can move in anytime in July- if you move in before July 15, my current roommate would be willing to split the cost of July’s rent with you. Longfellow is a lovely neighborhood- there are a lot of public transit options, lots of families in the surrounding houses, and within walking distance (a mile at most) of restaurants, bookstores, daycares, antique stores, and the Lake Street Target shopping center. The lease says no pets allowed, but if you have ESA documentation I’d love to live with an animal. The only utilities not included are electric and internet, and those are pretty cheap month-to-month.
About the roomies
I’m Charlie, and I’d be your only roommate! I’m a 22 year old transmasculine grad student going to the U. I’m a fairly tidy, fairly COVID-conscious person (and would ask the same of you). I’m a clear communicator, 420-friendly, and out of the house for 12 hours a day most days- if you need your space, I’m your guy. I’m a night owl, love to cook when I have the time, and love to spend time out on the patio or take walks down to the river when the weather is nice.
