This is a home for people who love the outdoors!

The neighborhood was built with nature in mind. The lots were cut into the woods as opposed to the area being clear cut. Even though the community was built in the 90’s mature trees abound. It is very quiet all the time and is dark (but VERY safe) at night. In the morning you will hear birds outside and will, likely, see deer as you sip your coffee on the back deck! You hear frogs, owls and foxes when you sit outside at night.

There are 2 lakes nearby (within a 10 min drive). Mountain Island Lake & Lake Norman. There is a 12’ Wilderness Systems Pungo Kayak+Paddle+Life Vest here that you may use.

My house is adjacent to the Torence Creek Greenway Walking Trail which is paved and very safe.

The community has a large outdoor pool that is open in the spring/summer months.

The home is on 1/2 acre! The first third of that is the front yard and the house. The back 2/3 are deck + grass and mature trees.

The deck has a fire pit, grill/smoker & table/chairs. There are Edison Lights on the deck that create a very serene environment in the evenings.

The kitchen is very friendly and has a brand new gas stove…I LOVE to cook and would enjoy making shared meals and the comradery of eating together…but this is not required if you aren’t into it.

There is a front room with couch and chairs for social time and a back room with couches/chairs and a 50“ television. The back room is my “travel room” and has mementos from my travels as decorations. Having two common areas is nice as it allows for us to spend time together, or apart, with ease.

Your bedroom and private bathroom are on the second floor. The shared washer/drier are in that bathroom, however. Your bedroom overlooks the back yard and has blackout curtains. There is a queen bed and 2 full closets. I am putting as set of drawers in one closet and am getting a TV for the room.

There is ample storage space in the garage and under the house.

I am a 49 year old construction project manager. I travel often for work, so you will have the house to yourself maybe 1/4 of the month.

I love the outdoors (hiking, paddling, camping) and enjoy cooking.
