Sam's room

Cute, recently updated 2-story, 2 BR, 1 bath apartment that is within walking distance of charming downtown Concord. Recent updates include fresh paint, new flooring downstairs, and an updated kitchen. The living room is furnished, and I am more than happy to share my kitchen items. I am looking to rent out the second bedroom upstairs, which is a bit small, but also cute and sunny (and I can provide you with a window AC unit for the summer). I am charging under less than half of what I pay for the room itself (with a flat rate for utilities added on to that), as I am in the larger bedroom and realize that the space (both the second bedroom and common areas) cannot accommodate a ton of extra items (and I prefer not to add too much more to the common areas so that they don’t get too cluttered :)). The bathroom would be shared. There is a small, but cute, backyard space. Off-street parking.

My name is Sam, and I am the Director of a nonprofit initiative. I enjoy being creative, the forest, laughing, and good conversation.

I am looking for a roommate who values mutual respect in a living arrangement and also may be interested in the occasional outing, cooking a meal together once in a while, etc.

Community is important to me, but I also value my own quiet time and so totally understand others’ need for that as well. I’m currently going through some health things, and so there may be times I get back and just need to rest.
