Deposit is one and one-half months rent (without Renter’s Insurance) + 1st month rent to move-in. Background and credit check required, $80 application fee.

Location is close to Siskiyou Blvd above SOU (Go Raiders), Market of Choice, and parks/hiking trails. Off street parking for one car per room. Bicycle and grill storage available and limited to one per person. Garage space for motorcycle considered. Additional off-street parking is available and some storage is available for an additional fee. Household is both student and working professionals. BOTH enjoy the central location. Discretion is expected, quiet hours observed. Rented rooms are pet free, furnished, and share a full bath upstairs. Each room has their own bath vanity, their own pantry in the kitchen and their own frig space in the kitchen.

Roomies live independently, converging from time to time, usually in the kitchen. Housemates can be working professionals, students, and the property is owner occupied, albeit frequently out of town. Common area is extensive with minimal restrictions. Quiet hours are observed, houserules apply. Tenants should be confident in their ability to use stairs with luggage. We love animals! However, rented rooms and common areas can not have pets due to the health of others living in the home. This will be my fifth year renting rooms to SOU students, and it has been a pleasure to offer a quiet, comfortable, and well-cared-for home close to campus. Students have appreciated the welcoming environment, indoor and outdoor furnishings, designated tenant spaces, and off-street parking, all of which help make Walker Ave Chalet a practical and inviting place to live.
