Huge master bedroom with gorgeous ensuite bathroom available in 3BR/2BA house on a quiet cul-de-sac in Mars Hill, just a 20 minute drive from downtown Asheville. House sits on a hill overlooking large fenced-in backyard (pups are welcome!) High ceilings, tons of light, open floorplan, central heating & air, cute front porch plus patio with half-covered pergola in backyard. Bedroom has two large windows, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, dimmer lights, and king-sized bed with handcrafted bedframe. Other furniture available if needed. Bathroom features clawfoot tub, tile flooring, and a farmhouse-style sink on dresser converted to a vanity. W/D in unfinished basement that also has plenty of room for storage. Shared spaces would be living room, dining room, and kitchen.

I’m a 40+ (she/her) homebody who enjoys a lovely, quiet, boring life :) My senior chihuahua and I spend our time reading, cooking, tending our houseplants, and watching Netflix. If you’re like me, you’d prefer to live alone but appreciate a larger living space for way less than a 1BR apartment or even studio costs these days. I work from home 2-3 days per week so my ideal housemate would be a quiet, respectful, mature person with excellent communication skills. I prefer the shared space to be uncluttered but am not fanatical about cleaning. Although I enjoy some after-work adult-style beverages and have no problem with weed, this situation is definitely not for partiers. That being said, all humans are welcome as are pets!
