I am looking for a roommate for a private bed and bath (with a walk-in closet) in a 2 Bed/2 Bath highrise unit in New Eastside (right above Maggie Daley Park). The apartment is 1200 sqft with a view of the lake in the Parkshore condominium in Lakeshore East.

The shared space is fully furnished, and the building has some fantastic amenities like a library, club room, roof deck, pool, whirlpool, exercise room/gym, tennis/pickleball court, and a spa. Plus, there’s free bike storage!

The location is perfect as we are in Chicago’s New Eastside neighborhood and just across from DuSable Harbor, within 1 mile of Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and Michigan Ave. You’ll never be short of things to do on the weekends! 60 bus that goes through all of downtown through the west loop stops right outside. Easy access to the lake (~6-minute walk).

All utilities including cable and wifi are covered except electricity (~$13-50/month). Rent will be approximately $1350+e bill and the unit will be available mid-June (could be available earlier) and run on a one-year lease.

I am a 31-year-old male currently working as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. I recently graduated with an MBA from the University of Michigan in 2022 and have been enjoying exploring all that the city has to offer.

I make sure to clean up after myself, and I’m always willing to pitch in with household chores. Whether it’s doing dishes, vacuuming, or taking out the trash, I understand that keeping our shared space clean is a team effort.

I am a laid-back and easygoing person. I travel for work Monday-Thursday, but when I’m not on the road, I love spending my free time outdoors. Hiking, exploring new trails, and enjoying nature are some of my favorite pastimes.

On weekends, I like to socialize and have fun with friends. Whether it’s checking out new restaurants, catching a concert, or just hanging out at home, I’m always up for a good time.
