This is a three-month sublet, May through the end of July, with the option to renew the lease. Street parking available. Laundry room in building.

About the apartment: Clean and cozy basement apartment with a full kitchen. The bathroom has a tub! Huge shared backyard with chickens, a fig tree, and lots of cool succulents. Kitchen herb garden available to use. Walking distance from 3 different bus lines, local cafés, corner stores, parks, and acclaimed restaurants. Very bikeable neighborhood, close to a great bike path. Both Berkeley Bowls (local grocery store with very affordable produce) and two different weekly farmers’ markets are within easy biking/driving/bussing distance.

About the room: Large private room with a closet. Comes with a dresser, a wardrobe, and a full size bed (box spring and mattress).

You will be living with Koda (24, he/him/his), and Delphi (9 month old kitten).

Koda is a recent UC Berkeley graduate who works from home as a writer. He is a late sleeper and late riser, but lives easily with people with any sleep schedule. He is reasonably neat/clean. He loves games (cards, dominoes, cribbage) and long philosophical discussions. He is very friendly but treasures alone time.

Delphi is an adorable muted calico kitten. She is blind, but very self sufficient. She’s very friendly and loves attention.
