About the room
NE Tac basically Federal Way/Twin Lakes area - Seattle 30 min away and Tacoma 15 min away. Great home in VERY sought after and safe neighborhood with high end homes and spectacular Views of Mountains, Tacoma cityscapes, and the Water(Puget Sound)! Plenty of space for storage under the back deck and in garage, you get a Private Room with Queen Bed(Brand new mattress never used) & a 4 piece Bathroom right outside your door. We would share laundry room downstairs on Main floor. Amazing covered deck in back. Kitchen Dining and 2 Living rooms all available for you to use anytime. I am very neat and keep the home clean. Your room is of course your space. I will never enter. And I can accommodate in person showings and interviews- you interview me and I you of course. Also texting is great. Or for convenience FaceTime so you can see the home and room ect. More pics of interior upon request. And if you have your own Furniture I can remove the bed and desk for you. :) if our tenant is a female, then the bathroom will be shared. If our tenant is a male, they will get their own bathroom. Month to month is OK or a lease for however many months we mutually agree upon.
About the roomies
We are a fun and warm household, and also have very busy schedules in the morning and evenings we are on the go. We like our place to be a relaxing getaway from the stress of life, and are looking for a female roommate(preferably but not set in stone) also open to a very considerate and CLEAN male roommate. We have had great experiences with both. You will hear the occasional Movie Music or laughter in the background. Other than that we are pretty quiet. Also, we have 1 orange Tabby and he will roam the house but stay near us or do his own thing. Occasionally, 8am-2pm M-Fri I do work from home and am mainly in my office or room. I only leave for appts, showings, and errands. In the evenings I am gone 3-4 nights a week. I truly need a roomie who either has an opposite schedule/works out of the home/at the very least has a social life. And that doesn’t mind that I’m home during days. ALSO CLEANLINESS is important in common areas. If we use it we clean it. :) On Tues evenings I teach a dance class. And there will be many other times you get the house to yourself. Our home offers 2 living rooms & 2 dining rooms so there’s plenty of space to enjoy outside of your room. There’s also a covered deck in the back with patio furniture. Great place to have a cup of coffee, a cocktail, wine or read when it’s warm. This home has a view of the water from back of house(kitchen, dining, family room). There’s a view of Mt.Rainier from the front of house(your room) on a clear day. This is a very exclusive neighborhood. It’s quiet and extremely secure. There’s a police sub station on the corner and we have not had a break in, in over 19 years!! All the neighbors are really nice and everyone takes great care of their property. The ideal person for us would care about coming home to an actual HOME not just a place or crammed in an apartment. There is a separate laundry room downstairs, connected to the powder room (1/2 bathroom). There is a two car garage. However, we are using one side for storage and do not park in the garage… That can be adjusted if needed. I’m friendly and outgoing and also understand some people just like their solo time. :) The backyard has a back patio not fully fenced. I pay for landscaping the HOA and utilities(unless the cost of utilities goes up exponentially upon your move-in… It’s included). If utilities, go up, I will present the bill and we can discuss a small partial payment to cover that overages. Parks and the beach within walking distance.
