Ellie's room

The Apartment: The apartment is in a 10-unit building with shared coin-op laundry. The space we would share is a 2 bedroom on the second level. It is located right off on a fairly low-traffic street with easy access to public transportation and is close to UC Berkeley. The living room/ kitchen space is an open floor plan with many windows, the kitchen has a dishwasher as well. There is a fair amount of art on the walls, but plenty of space for you to bring in your personality, and furniture. There is a small private patio, and my cat Meatball lives with me. (She would also be living with you.)

The Room: The room will be available June 1st for a 12-month lease. I ideally would like to have someone on the lease by the last week of May. The room is around 90 square feet and there is a sink in the room. The rent is $1244/month with a $1871.25 security deposit. (you also will have to get background screening from the rental agency)

About me: I am a structural designer, typically I work at the office during the week and spend evenings at home. I enjoy doing yoga, creating art, fire spinning, and aerials. I am 420-friendly. I am clean and respectful of others and common spaces. I enjoy interacting with those that I live with but am also very conscious of personal space and privacy. Ideally looking for a roommate that is desiring a friend-like relationship. I have an ESA cat named Meatball. She loves a good nap in the sun and cuddles. Unfortunately no other pets at this time.
