About the room

Looking for the right roommate to share my 3 bed, 2 bath home in SE Bend. The house is cozy and peaceful, with two shared living room spaces, nice kitchen, fully fenced yard with large garden, big screen projector, central heat and AC, and large bedroom with lots of natural light. This is a SINGLE occupancy room with a private bathroom (shared occasionally with house guests). The room is 11’ x 15’ with a full-size closet. Street parking, but room in the garage to store your gear! Close to everything- 10 min from Old Mill, downtown Bend, and the hospital. 15 min to the westside and OSU-Cascades. Easy biking access to anywhere in town. Walking distance to Alpenglow Park with off-leash dog park, and close to the Larkspur Community Center. Initial 6-month lease, then month to month. $1,000 includes wifi and all utilities. $1,000 security deposit. Available March 1st.

About the roomies

About me: I’m a single female in my mid-30’s, currently a graduate student at OSU-Cascades. I live with two large cats and one small dog. I’m open to adding one more dog to the household (no more cats), with a commitment to share in responsibility for keeping the house clean and backyard free of poop. And of course, they must get along with my pets! When not at school, I work remotely from my home office, and love to spend time outdoors doing all the classic Bend recreation activities. I’m also an avid reader, lover of animals, plants, cooking, and travel. I grew up in the Portland area, and I’ve lived in Bend for about 6 years now.

My ideal roommate: I’d love to find another female close to my age, who is also active, fun-loving, and ideally interested in staying at least a year. Must be currently employed and able to show proof of income, be responsible, and have solid communication skills. I like to keep the house tidy and hope you do too. Bonus points if you would enjoy occasional meals together, philosophical conversations, and hikes/skiing.
