Why I Need A Roommate: My roommate of 3 years just bought a condo, which is why I will need a roommate.

The Apartment: I like to keep the apartment at least semi-clean and I’m open to a roommate agreement of duties/schedules, etc. -The bedroom does not have an AC, but there is one in the living room and master bedroom. I am willing to leave my bedroom door open to cool yours down.

• The front door closet, linen closet, cupboards, etc, are split 50/50. There is a closet in the bedroom as well that is completely yours. -The dining room area and living room will be basically empty (besides my guinea pigs if okay for them to stay there), so go nuts. My roommate had both full of stuff when I moved in, so I never bought a couch, dining table, etc. -The apartment has tons of amenities such as a fitness center, hot tub, yoga room, karaoke room, theater room, community kitchen, doggy spa and playroom, patio area, party room, and even a little marketplace where you can buy snacks. -There is a washer and dryer on every floor. It’s like about 4 dollars to wash and dry a load of laundry. -My roommate currently pays water and electric and just bills me my half. That is what would happen between us. -The apartment offers the ability to pay for an underground garage spot and also to pay for a storage area in the basement.

Pets: My roommate had a former roommate with cats, so now we have to opt in to a cat deposit, despite not having any. Dumb, I know. If you have a cat or two, that’s fine!

About Me: My name is Katelyn and I am 26. I work at a day center for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. I’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 4 1/2 years. We are currently trying to get an apartment together, but that can’t happen until next January. He is physically disabled so needs special housing. I like to play video games and binge tv shows. I also enjoy anime. I have two guinea pigs, but their cage can be in my room if need be. Other caged pets are cool and so are cats.
