Lease takeover for a private bedroom in a spacious 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom apt in Bushwick, right off of Central Ave. Lease begins on July 1, and rent is $1400 plus utilities (~$75 per person for electricity, gas, and wifi). The apt is walking distance from the M, L, and J, with a lot of cute cafes and restaurants nearby. The bedrooms fit a king bed and a desk, and they face a backyard that goes unused, so no street noise at night. Perfect for someone who wants a bright, spacious apt to come home to.

I’m a grad student at NYU who mainly keeps to herself but is friendly and always down for a chat! I lived with my current roommate for three years, since we both started as PhD students at NYU, but I’m looking for someone to take over her part of the lease as she is moving in with her partner at the end of the school year. I describe myself as fairly neat, clean, and quiet, but not overly so. My current roommate and I agreed upon general house rules at the start and communicate directly if anything comes up, which has worked well for us. Looking for someone with a similar approach!
