My brother and I are looking for a roommate to fill our third bedroom. We live in Prairie Village, we’re renting a three bedroom, two bathroom house. This is a great location, the neighborhood is quiet, we’re a five minute drive from downtown Overland Park and are surrounded by multiple smaller shopping centers around five to ten minutes in every direction, dozens of great places to walk to when the weather is warm. The neighborhood is mostly young families and seniors. My brother is 26, and I’m 31, we’re both chill respectful and focused on our careers. We’re looking for someone who isn’t too loud, someone respectful, and low drama. There are currently no pets allowed, but we’re going to see if we can negotiate dogs into the lease this next time around. Our current lease ends around mid April, so we’re looking to get someone in around that time or sometime in May. Rent would be $650-670, I give a range because we’ll be negotiating our next lease soon and we don’t know if they’ll try to raise. The house has a kitchen, dinning room, sitting room, and a finished basement, we haven’t done anything with the basement yet. You’d also be getting a garage space along with the room. We’re coming up on a year here and we’re really loving the place.

You will be added to the next upcoming lease. Our Landlady requires that all tenants be making at least 40k a year, you’ll be required to provide proof of income when signing the next lease. Rent prices do no include utilities.

I’m 31, my brother is 26, we’re both pretty laid back, both very career focused. We both like to cook, play videos games, workout, we’re mostly active on the weekends.
