Amazing space in the Southside of Downtown Durham. 10 minute walk to the Bulls stadium, maybe 12 minutes to DPAC, and MAYBE 15 to Main St downtown. Single Family Home built in 2016, I’m looking for a roommate to share the house with. Me- I’m 43, single, and member of the LGBTQ community. I“m a small business owner. I own a small luxury salon in the heart of Downtown. I’m a dog dad…. Crimson is a new addition, 5 month old pitbull, and Clover, the love of my life, 11 year old pitbull. Both are extremely friendly. The furnished room consists of a queen sized bed, night stands on both sides, along with a dresser. Bedding also included. The bathroom is also private, across from the bedroom. There is laundry as well, brand new appliances. Future roommate will also have full run of the house less the master bedroom. Smoking is NOT allowed in the home, however outside on front porch or back deck, totally cool as long as its clean. Furnished room is $1250/month. There is an empty second room across from the furnished that could make a great office or private living room/den, added for $1500. Unfortunately no pets are allowed, unless a fish tank is in tow. Space is perfect for a recently separated person, grad student, or career restaurant/bar worker. I’m very familiar with restaurant hours so that could be a great fit. Truth be told anyone with a stable job, good credit and rental history, and easy to live with is ideal. No kids, sorry. Utilities are NOT included in rent, and will be split under separate contract. Utilities consist of ATT high speed fiber internet, perfect for working from home, Hulu Live tv, Netflix, HBO, Prime, Electric, Water, and trash. Hi there! I’m Lane….. I’m 43, part of the LGBTQ community, and I have a room (s) in a single family home in Downtown Durham for rent for a 1 year lease. I’m a small business owner, I own a salon downtown, and have been here in the same neighborhood for the last 7 years. I have a furnished bedroom, private bathroom and run of the house available for the right roommate. I have two dogs, Crimson (5 months old, Pit), and Clover (11 yrs old, also a Pit) that are both amazing beasts… They love people once they know them! They make a great security system! My home is located in the Southside/St Theresa neighborhood, maybe a quick 10 minute walk to the Durham Bulls stadium, 12 to DPAC, and MAYBE 15 to Main St downtown. When I’m not working, I’m a pretty fun homebody…. I’m a huge fan of “Adult Coloring”, with a couple of friends in front of Netflix… I do try to make sure I’m at the gym 3-4 times a week, and I love getting on my bicycle and taking off! I’m pretty low key, the days of major parties are over, however I’m not a bump on the log…. I still know how to and like to have fun from time to time. I love going out and getting food in town, and a couple times a month can totally be convinced to grab a drink. I also enjoy taking the pups for walks both throughout the neighborhood and through downtown. I am active in the downtown business community, and stay educated and up to date on local and national politics. I like to keep the house pretty tidy, and can be convinced to hire out cleaning once a week if a roommate is willing to split it.
