We have a room coming available for rent April 30 in a shared house in Edmonds, WA (just North of Seattle). Our current housemate is moving into the attached MIL. Rent is $900/month including utilities, internet and basics like shared TP, paper towels, and dish soap. Rent also includes use of the hot tub, firepit, kitchenware, surround sound TV, common spaces, laundry in garage, raised bed garden, and a large private backyard under majestic Douglas fir trees and amazing sunsets. There is space above the bedroom for light storage of boxes. The bathroom is shared with two other people. The kitchen has ample cabinet and refrigerator space. Parking includes a designated spot in the driveway. The room is 16’ by 14’ with 3 windows. We are 30 minutes from downtown, very close to Meadowdale Middle School, with a running track and park around the corner. A car is required to get around since we are at least a mile from stores, and buses are sparse. Sorry, no dogs.

You would live with 3 women, 1 man (all in our 40’s and early 50’s), a cat, and two girls (ages 12 &14 who live there 50% of the time and are very responsible and considerate). We are all progressive, artistic, conscious sort who enjoy music, art and dancing. We all have independent, professional, busy lives but enjoy monthly potlucks and house meetings, occasional shared meals and hosting occasional house concerts, bonfires, and birthday parties (always optional).
