Located on the second floor of a beautiful Brooklyn brownstone, with high tin ceilings, big living room, dishwasher, and huge PRIVATE deck, in addition to roof access! Landlord lives in the building on the first two floors and is very responsive. 10 min walk to the G, 5 min walk to Key Food grocery store, 10 min walk to Fort Greene park, with a laundromat right around the corner. Located on a quiet side street, but close to a main street with lots of bars and restaurants.

The room will be available as of May 15ish (I’m gradually moving out over the week of 4/30, but can aim to be out by 5/7 or 5/8 if that better aligns with your schedule), and tenant will ideally take over the July 1 lease—$1,116/mo for first two months, then $1,149 as of July 1. Monthly rent excludes utilities (usually $50-$60), and the room requires a one-month security deposit. Sorry, no pets or couples!

Roommate (female) is a 27-year-old publishing professional, who is clean, quiet, & respectful, and works a hybrid schedule M-F, 9-5. Will occasionally have company over for movie nights, small dinner parties, etc, but these things are always scheduled in advance/roommates are checked in with beforehand. She is always down to chill and watch a movie with the roomies, but also appreciate solo/quiet time. We are also good friends with the tenants in the unit above us, who are also working women in their 20s. There are only two units in the building, so if you’re looking for a nice, friendly living community, this is it :)
