The room is a decent size (big enough to fit a queen sized bed and a comfortable desk along with storage and an attached closet) on the second level of a split level home with free street parking in a safe neighborhood 10 minutes from DCA. Both levels have their own kitchen/dinning/living space so the only shared interaction is with the downstairs laundry. It’s 10 minutes from a Harris Teeter and a quick drive to Aldi’s. Located right along S Glebe, it’s a 10 to 15 minute walk to Metrobus lines taking one to Ballston and a 20 minute drive to Old Town, Alexandria. Overall, it’s a great space with an amazing location. Please be aware that the photos are from the previous tenant I took the room from (my current room is filled with boxes on boxes!) Room does come furnished with a desk, coat rack, mini bookshelf, storage, and a mattress with frame for no extra cost!

You’ll be living with two other people on your level, and sharing laundry with two other people on the lower level. No other dogs though, as the 1 dog policy is already occupied by a sweet Pitsky named Spud (the friendliest Potato) who is perfectly behaved and listens 9 times out of 10. Spud’s mom, Jess, works in Arlington on a hybrid schedule and Aiden works totally remotely. Both are stand up people who are easy to communicate with and are upfront. This house requires someone who’s LGBTQ+ friendly and are really great. Wouldn’t be leaving if I wasn’t recently laid off if I’m being honest.
