Tara's room

I have a 1930’s home in the beautiful riverside in a prime location. Enjoy nearby parks, rivers, bikes, museums, botanical gardens, coffee shops and only few minutes from downtown.

All spaces are shared except your private bedroom. I spend most my time in the kitchen, bedroom or garage - prob be outside in the yard more with warmer weather. I have health issues so I keep it pretty chill, if I can’t be at work I’ll be in bed. I’m down to spend some time together, help you learn about cool stuff in the city and chat but I’m an introvert at heart.

Your room can be fully furnished or you can bring your own things. The closet is large and has storage shelves up top. There’s additional storage in basement if needed.

Having one shared bathroom can suck sometimes so we will have to learn each others schedules. The bathroom being all white gets gross, especially shared, so I like rotating cleaning the bathroom every other week.

I have a massive refrigerator and freezer. I don’t have much kitchen storage left but will accommodate space - I’m okay sharing my small appliances, dishes, baking bowls, some spices etc. Leave my Tupperware alone though and wash blender right after use😉 it’s okay if dishes stack up a couple days - life happens. We will just do our best to be considerate.

I have a ridiculously happy miniature goldendoodle and 4 super social indoor outdoor cats that likely will want to cuddle you. I am not interested in having anymore animals in the home, however I will consider special circumstances or extremely short stays.
