Maya's room

I am looking to rent a room in my household. Ideally looking for a student or young professional to rent to for at least 1-2 years. The renter will have access to the entire home. My house is a beautiful old San Jose Spanish style property located near Santa Clara University and San Jose State. Near bus lines, freeways and the mall. There is a fireplace, Jacuzzi and patio. Nice hardwood floors and retro kitchen. Bathrooms are shared. The room I am renting is furnished with a bed, side table, dresser and armoire. Renter is responsible for partial utilities (pg&e + water). No parking in the driveway permitted but parking on the street is available. I already have cats and do not want more pets in the house. Very friendly atmosphere with great neighbors. No smoking or any types of drugs are allowed. Credit checks and referrals needed.

I am a very outgoing individual who loves cats. Always eager to get out of the house to visit friends or attend events. At home I am fairly quiet, kind of a clean freak, and an early to bed early to rise kind of gal.

My other roommate is a graduate student at SJSU. He is kind of nerdy and enjoys anime and video games. When he’s not eternally suffering from his studies he does enjoy going outside and attending concerts and going camping. He is the opposite of me and is a night owl
