About the Space/Apartment: 1242 sqft 3 bedroom condo, I rent the master bedroom and I have one other roommate that rents the larger of the two smaller rooms. You’ll have kitchen access and the ability to use the laundry room which has a full size washer and dryer. You’ll share the main bathroom with my other tenant. There’s a large patio where you will also have access to. There is a pool and a basketball court on the grounds.

Location: Lovely thing about the unit is it close to just about everything you need. Lucky’s, Safeway, CVS. Plenty of eateries such as iHop, Panda Express, Burger King, McDonald’s, Jack-n-the-Box, Mr. Pickles (and many many more, it’s off Clayton so if you know the area you know there’s just too much to name). Concord, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill BART stations not too far from the unit. Next to tons of gas stations as well.

Who I’m Looking For: The kind of person I am looking for has to be someone that pays their rent on time, I can’t stress this enough. I do not want to have to come searching for you or tracking you down when it’s time for rent to be due. I prefer someone in the age range of 21ish to 45ish, but for the right person that can be worked out. Someone that will clean after themselves and help to keep the common areas clean. The person must be thoughtful, meaning when you see common house hold items such as toilet paper or dish washing liquid getting low you replace them without me having to ask. Someone that is mindful and will not use my personal items without asking. I don’t mind if my roomie has over night guest just as long as it’s not an excessive amount of nights, I don’t want to look up and have a third roommate cause you moved your boyfriend/girlfriend in (trust me it’s happened before). I don’t mind 420 and you can smoke cigarettes on the balcony. I sleep hard so noise doesn’t really bother me, however I do want to be mindful of our neighbors so no one too loud during the night hours, or day hours for that matter. You have to have a steady job. Someone that is respectful of my home and understands that yes you have access to common areas, however essentially you’re ONLY renting a ROOM. I need someone that is mindful and understanding, who knows what it means to be a good roommate.

Who I(we) am: I am a 39 year old mixed female with a full time job. I work from home 8:30am to 5pm. I am 420 friendly but don’t partake myself; I enjoy a nice glass of wine after work and am big into watching TV and movies. Mainly I like to watch Netflix. I am a person that enjoys laughing and would love to find a roommate that can be cordial but understands when I need my space, as I will do the same for them. I have a significant other that stays with me in the master bedroom, so you’ll see him around the house. He’s 49, mixed, and super friendly, and he uses the common areas more than I do. He has a job that sometimes keeps him on the road for extended periods of time, but when he is home, he is usually there often. The last roommate is my mother; I am the primary leaseholder; however, she rents one of the 3 rooms. She’s business-oriented and can be gone quite often. She is okay with 420, and she is someone you’ll see in the living area room but is very cordial. As far as how I am as a roommate, I am not the one to act like your mother; I let you come and go as you please and just do you; just be respectful as I’m sure to.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: Rent Cost - $950 Deposit - $700 Utilities - Split 3 ways Terms - This is going to start off on a month-to-month basis, as I want to feel the person out, and I want them to be able to do the same. I reserve the right to have you leave if it comes to it, but let’s hope it doesn’t.
