not including photos of the open room because i don’t want to photograph my roommate’s belongings but feel free to hit me up for a tour. rent includes all utilities except for electricity and cooking gas; these utilities end up being around $17 each per month (more expensive over the summer). rent includes internet. the apartment is inside of a house. the bedroom is spacious with a walk-in closet. it’s a 10 minute walk from downtown iowa city, 15 minute walk from east-side University of Iowa campus. very close to a bus stop. coin laundry in basement. porch with a hammock. i have a cat…i am open to living with a second cat if they are a nice cat that likes other cats. street parking is free, otherwise you can rent a parking spot behind the house for $80/month starting in august. i rent from a private landlord, not a big corporation, and they maintain their properties very well. we got a brand new fridge in august 2021, a brand new stove in october 2022, and a brand new dishwasher in january 2023.
