Hi everyone! My name is Louis and I’m looking for 1-2 other folks (male or female) to join me and my current roommate at our new place in East Kensington near the Frankford Fishtown commercial corridor. It’s a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom new townhome with a great roofdeck, about 7 minutes walking to the MFL subway line. Looking for someone to join anytime after 4/15. Rent would be ~900 + utilities if one person joins, but if we get a 4th roommate rent would be ~725 + utilities for both parties.

A little about me: I like to keep my room and common areas clean and organized, love to play boardgames if folks are down (Catan, Terraforming Mars, and Codenames are my current favorites), am an avid rock climber and biker, and am always down to explore and appreciate the architecture and urban planning of Philly. I’m also a big public policy nerd, especially around issues such as zoning reform, affordable housing, public transit investment, and much more! My roommate, Kody is an anime lover who is an excellent cook (and is very generous with sharing his cooking with the folks he lives with). He’s a wonderful person to talk to, whether you’re feeling a bit down about something or looking for the best places for EDM music in Philly. We are a very pet-friendly household - I have one friendly and chonky cat named Tuesday, while Kody has two cats (Gromchi and Frida) both of whom are extremely cuddly, and a sweet dog named Nico.We are open to folks with one or two other pets, but more than that we get into farm territory, and we don’t own enough flannel shirts for that quite yet.

Community is really important to me, so we’re looking for folks who are interested in having a roommate situation where people can talk and hang out with each other when they want/need, but can easily do their own thing as well.
