This rental includes 3 private rooms PLUS a kitchenette. My home is in a quiet, beautiful upscale neighborhood next to a large Nature Park. It is approximately a 6 minute walk to the Deschutes River and a RimRock overlook and access to the river’s edge. Going another direction it is approximately 6 minutes to a RIVERSIDE path where you can walk or bike all the way to town. The home is only 10 minutes drive to downtown Bend. It is 7.5 miles from St. Charles Hospital. It is 3 blocks from a bus line on Brookswood Road. There is off street parking in the driveway for your car. The bedroom was freshly painted (March ’22), with brand new wool carpet (as of June ’22), and all new furniture and linens (Apr ’22). The den is an additional room right next to the bedroom for your use as a living room/den with a comfortable chair and ottoman, desk and additional closet storage. If you have a TV, you could stream to it and/or utilize my Netflix and Amazon Prime subscription. The bath is also located right next to the bedroom and for your use only. All rooms are upstairs. My guest room is also upstairs, and only when that is used by my occasional guests, would there be anyone else residing up there. There is a kitchenette for your private use on the main level in the laundry room. It includes portable small appliances including a coffee maker, an electric double buffet burner, toaster, air fryer, microwave, sink, full sized refrigerator, and pantry storage. All eating utensils, plates and cookware can be provided. You would have full use of the laundry. The yard and garden are beautiful as I love to garden and the patio has attractive and comfortable patio furniture as you can see from the pictures. I prefer my tenant NOT work from home, and must be a VERY CLEAN AND TIDY person. I would enjoy having a more mature female roommate, 40+ in age, and interested potentially in a longer-term stay.

I am a single female in her 60’s living alone, a widow who has a zest for life. I am very active in the outdoors, so go hiking and skiing often. I do travel several weeks a year, and may ask for oversight / caretaking of my home while I’m away. I may have house guests occasionally. I am a very clean, tidy and organized person, and would like the same in a roommate. I do enjoy entertaining and have the house and gardens for that purpose.
