We just moved to a beautiful spacious single-family home between Gainesville and Oakwood. The house has a ton of space, as well as a fenced in backyard. The room for rent is private, facing the front of the house. You would be sharing a bathroom with our female roommate. If you are artsy/crafty, and need space for a desk for your craft, we also have a craft room where you could put your desk/materials.

I am Taylor, a 9th grade English teacher for Hall County schools. I love to read, watch horror movies, and take naps in my downtime. I am married to my partner, Kevin, who is the general manager at Culver’s. He loves to watch TV, watch Tik Tok, and hang out with our dogs. We live with our close friend Faith, who is in her sophomore year at UNG as a Graphic Design major. Faith is incredibly artsy, loves to play Minecraft, and crochet.

We have 4 dogs - a Black Lab, a pug, and two weenie dogs - so a roommate with no pets is preferable. Faith also has a cat named Bagel. However, you are entitled to all the snuggles you could possibly want! They do stay in their kennels during the day when we are not home, so no, they aren’t free roaming.

We are pretty clean people - we do all work jobs that require us to get up early (sales associate, teacher, manager) - so we aren’t big partiers. We are also fairly quiet, so if you are looking for peace, we can offer that!

We do recognize that it is a bit of an odd situation, with two of us being married and living with friends. However, the cost of living is expensive, and through this experience, we have created a close knit little found family. We would love to add on to this family, and we would really like to find a roommate who will potentially be a life long friend. If this is you, please contact us! We are flexible with move in dates, but ultimately would like someone soon.
