Hello! I have a large unfurnished bedroom w/ private bath ideally located 3 blocks from Park St. New hardwood floors.

Rent is month:month, but I want someone who will be here at least 6mos-year preferably. The rent is also more for a couple. I will need security deposit and first/last months rent.

Includes: -entire ground floor large 3/2 apartment in tri-plex -large closet and room has alcove for a desk, twin bed, sofa, bookshelves/storage etc.

• storage available throughout the house and room for a bike on side of house
• use of kitchen and common room -laundry on-site -large backyard with room for gardening -utilities and wifi included -street parking only

Note: I do have a cat, in case you have allergies. OTHER:

• minimum 2 references required
• no smokers (anywhere near the house)
• prefer no pets, but cat or other small animal that stays in your room is possible.

I am happy to rent to: an individual…Female pref’d but open to Male, a single parent with one child or a couple. LGBTQ/all gender friendly…of course!

I have rented this room for years and we are well adjusted to living with a diverse group of housemates. I am a single parent and I live with my two easy going and friendly teenagers. (yes, it’s true…teenagers can be all those things! LOL) One of them lives here 1/2 time. I describe myself as friendly, caring, upbeat, good-humored, and flexible. I am a teacher here in Alameda. Happy to work with you on any of your needs and preferences so we can find common ground. I just ask that you are tidy and I do need the house relatively quiet by around 9-10. I am a great communicator and need the same from you to keep the environment happy and healthy for all of us!

6. What are you looking for in a roommate? What are your needs and expectations in a new home?
7. Do you have a pet and if so what kind?
8. Do you have a child and if so what age?
