Hello! Im looking for a wonderful person to join our home. I have a beautiful, clean, bright and furnished room available.
Currently the room includes a very comfy double bed with new mattress & pillows, dresser, large tv, night table and lamp and a built in desk/shelves wall unit. It’s painted light blue. We can change things in the room to make it how you like, including changing paint color adding or taking away furniture, art whatever (within reason) to make you happy and comfortable.
I’ve only rented to friends and it’s been a lot of fun. I like collaborating and having more people around. This is my first time offering it to the public and so the room has been empty because I cannot find the right person. Right now I’m using it as my organizational station.
My expenses have gone up considerably and my income has gone down. I’ve been sick since Covid, I have some sort of auto immune issue, which makes me very tired, but you wouldn’t know it, I keep plugging away because I need money. We are blessed to live in a beautiful fully remodeled home with a beautiful yard and garden which id like to keep.
You’d have access to the fully stocked, clean, organized and modern kitchen (I love to cook) living room with tv & fireplace, beautiful new sunporch, dining room, laundry room, family room, work out area-we are currently updating the basement area adding a stereo and trying to alphabetize and organize all of our record albums, new tv over the fp and updating the old fireplace to look prettier too. It’s another nice area to hang out in. We have a large yard, patio with grill, table, sitting area and fire table, a little pond with fish, hammock, fire pit with chairs and a vegetable garden. House is behind Westmore park and right down the street from bishops corner in a very safe and quiet neighborhood.
Bills are included, rent can be paid weekly, the security deposit is fully refundable at move out minus a cleaning fee, as an insurance policy for me just to make sure things don’t get terribly broken or destroyed.
It’s really a wonderful place to live, it’s just gotten really expensive for me.
The most important thing here is finding the right chemistry between all of us so we can live feeling peace, harmony and happiness in our home. Im struggling to pay my variable rate mortgage and other rising costs while dealing with some health challenges while taking care of a house & 15 yr all by myself so looking for another adult to help collaborate if possible but not necessary. The extra money alone would be a huge relief! Finding a new friend would be icing on the cake. I like to be as organic as possible, use natural products, cook clean, eat healthy. You can eat whatever you want or we could talk about sharing food. I have a part time gig working in a grocery store to get a discount. I would love to find someone that likes to garden as much as me so we could work on this together & have a lot of fresh food available. But also NOT necessary. If you just want to go to work and hardly be here that’s totally fine too! We are both very busy and are hardly home. The house is very cozy and welcoming. It’s me, our very sweet & friendly cats, and my quiet and very personable 15 yr old son who is out a lot these days at school, work, activities.
