A 2100sqft suburban house, 4 bdrm 2.5 bath, with a very artistic flair once you walk inside. Looking to rent this room with the right person who will contribute to a clean, chill, and positive communal living environment. Formally well loved by a Stockton Artist and her kids, this home has wall murals, unique details, a 3-sided climbing wall, furnished living room, dining room, two refrigerators, piano, hidden back nook for extra couches/TV space, laundry room, and a large open kitchen. There’s space in the garage for bikes and storage, a workbench and shelves for tools. The bedroom for rent is roughly 10’x10’, with a detachable closet, (used to be a loft so no closet), vaulted ceilings and a shared bathroom with one other, potentially two others if we fill the second available room. Garden beds are ready for planting, several fruit trees throughout the yard, cascading succulents, garden shed, overall a large yard with a fire pit area, grass, and a place for BBQ.
The current tenants are all independent and to varying degrees enjoy both outdoor adventures or chilling with movies. They have created a friendly living environment and it’s important to make sure you’re a good fit for the group. Looking for a clean and stable, non-smoker, pet-friendly person willing to contribute to a drama-free environment. Ideally someone who enjoys gardening and climbing walls.
One of the tenants will be moving out of the master bedroom in June, (currently she has two cats and a friendly dog), and we recently had two tenants move out, so it’s a small group at the moment! After June, we plan to turn any remaining vacant rooms into furnished rentals for traveling nurses, so the number of permanent tenants might remain small, unless the rooms are filled with a good group who vibe well together.
Alisa lives in the master room and helps with maintaining the house/yard, is the go-to for house meetings and cleaning schedules. She is a spark of energy, helps maintain the home, and does most of the decorating. She will be relocating to another state in June, and we are still up in the air if we will rent that room to a permanent tenant (or couple), or create a furnished room for traveling nurses. Jude lives in one of the hall bedrooms with the shared bathroom. They are hardworking, quiet and reserve (their playful personality comes out when they are comfortable), and they usually work in the evenings.
