Well appointed. furnished room with full sized bed, dresser, smart tv, mini fridge (if needed) in nicely set-up home. Bathroom renovated 4 years ago and is to be shared mainly w/one other roommate and possibly an occasional visitor. Kitchen appliances along with a washer and dryer are in excellent condition. This is in a very quiet, comfortable area on the edge of the Figarden part of Fresno. It’s wonderful if you want to sleep, study, or work from home. Street parking is always available. Home is convenient to bus stops. shopping, & restaurants.

A roomie is leaving effective 12/22. 2nd roomie is 27, will be a part-time student & works for FUSD. I retired and moved here from the Bay Area in 2019 after living in my last neighborhood for many years. For most of that time, I owned and operated a state and city licensed family child care business out of my home. Prior to that I worked in office oriented jobs (data entry, payroll and later personnel)-mostly for a large security corporation. Divorced after 28 years of marriage, I have one adult daughter (she’s in her 30’s) who chose to remain in the Bay Area to continue working for an employer she didn’t want to leave. Currently there’s, just me, my 9lb., 11 year old chihuahua-pug-mix (Rosie)plus a roomie & her dog. It’s a quiet household. Ideally we’d all be compatible, LGBTQ friendly, somewhat liberal or at least liberal tolerant and both kind and courteous to one another. Sharing similar personal and work values would be appreciated as not keeping up your living space won’t work well. Cleanliness is important. It’s also important for my roommates to be dog friendly as my dog (and possibly your dog:) is considered family and is accustomed and deserves to be treated as such. (Please note: A roommate with a dog will be on a case by case basis. The dog would need to be fixed, micro-chipped, up to date on all immunizations, licensed with the City of Fresno and under a local vet’s regular care, just as mine is. My dog is potty-trained and, as part of my family, is an inside only dog. In general she gets along with most dogs, but not all dogs. I would expect your dog to not only be accustomed to being inside but to be compatible with whoever lives here. Being a responsible dog owner is a must, so there is a separate contract and fee. That said, I have a good sized backyard, for those times our inside dogs need to go outside:) I’m sorry, but for whatever reason, my rescue pup doesn’t care for cats. (If she did, I’d have adopted one as a buddy for her long ago:) This is a non-smoking (of any type), non-vaping, drug-free home. (I don’t have anything against edible cannabis products as long as they’re used responsibly.) I don’t drink, but light, responsible drinking is fine:) I prefer long term lodgers and use a month to month contract. If all is going well, we’re comfortable with each other, and sharing my home works for each of us, the contract will continue to be extended. Only serious inquiries please.
