About the room
-Washer and Dryer in unit -Kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave, dish washer, and garbage disposal in sink -Ceiling fans and heat/AC -Carpeted floors with concrete underneath cancel much of the sound from the units above and below. -Close to several grocery stores and other stores, fast food places, hospital and dentist, and even right across the road from a skate park. -Small porch/balcony outside sun room -You would be getting the larger room with walk-in closet and separate bathroom (shower, toilet, mirror and sink) that my current roommate is leaving. In addition, feel free to use the sun room as an office or hobby room if youβd like.
Rent will be $1200 a month split to $600 per person each month. Utility bills usually end up being between $70 and $90 per person each month. Hopefully Iβll have the new internet router set up by the time of move-in.
The negatives: -The apartment is fairly close to a railroad. Personally, I donβt find the sound very loud, but it is audible when it passes. -The apartment will be mostly unfurnished, as my roommate is bringing much of the current furniture with him. I would be happy to split costs on getting new furniture though. -I only have until 3/31/2023 to find a roommate, as the lease requires a couple months notice to set up. -You will have to fill out an online application from the rental company, which they can email you if you provide your email.
About the roomies
I am a pretty quiet person and tend to keep to myself, so Iβll likely be in my own room much of the time when Iβm not at work. Iβm not against hanging out if we end up sharing interests. I suppose Iβd call myself a nerd and enjoy video games, Warhammer 40K, and anime/manga.
