A lovely sunlit ground floor apartment (approx. 900 sq. ft.) in a one-story duplex on a quiet residential street in central Tucson, AZ, near all conveniences: shopping, restaurants, and more. A large west-facing backyard with a covered patio - perfect for watching Tucsonβs spectacular sunsets!
The furnished bedroom is 11β by 11β with a walk-in closet (6β by 5β) with Wi-Fi, central A/C & heat, and ceiling fan. Bedroom has a TV with an additional one in the living room, both with streaming access and Netflix, Prime Video, and Peacock.
My home is warm, inviting, clean, and organized. It is a non-smoking environment. As an added bonus, I have an extremely friendly four-legged roommate. She is an eight-pound (hypoallergic) bundle of βdoggyβ love and affection. All living areas are communal. Free washer/dryer on the premises and free on-premises and street parking. Security and safety: secured by security bars, deadbolts, motion detector lights, and a ring security system with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher.
Perfect for those waiting for senior housing, or who need a flexible situation such as temporary work assignments, internships, or out-of-town visitors. This will be a month-to-month agreement. Currently welcoming short-term stays: minimum 30 days β max. 11 months, prefer stays of 90 days or longer. Females only.
About the roomies
I am an active, independent, single senior woman; a born and bred New Yorker. I work from home, so prefer someone who works during the day, but I am open to considering other situations. I usually get up early around 6 am and gear down about 8 pm with lights out around 10. I am fine with someone who stays up later if we are mutually respectful.
While I enjoy meeting new people and socializing, I also value my alone time and respect the boundaries of others. I occasionally enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, but not interested in living with someone who consumes a lot of alcohol or does recreational drugs.
