Ideal roommate would be looking for short term housing. 3-6 months. Pictures shown are from when I first moved in. Some rooms have slightly different furniture and decorations Hello! The space for rent includes a private, spacious room and den on the top floor of my house. This space takes up the entire top floor and there is a door at the bottom of the stairs that helps keep the space private. We would share the bathroom, living space, dining room and kitchen! I have a full kitchen that has all necessary appliances, utensils, pots/ pans, etc. Additionally, I have a small espresso machine and stand mixer. All rooms are full furnished and there is the option to have me store the furniture upstairs if you have your own furniture you would like to bring. Otherwise, the upstairs is furnished with a full size bed, side tables, dresser, chair. Washer and dryer are available in the basement, as well as additional storage space in the basement. The property includes a fenced in backyard with patio furniture and a grill. If you like to garden, there is a small space in the front yard that I’ve used for gardening. Street parking is available and free, and there is a potential for off street parking depending on the size of your vehicle. The house is within walking distance of the D line express bus, two corner stores, a local bakery and a large park. We are a long walk or driving distance from The Get Down coffee shop, North Market and a Hennepin County Library. I unfortunately do not have central air, though the windows upstairs can fit a window a/c (will provide measurements if needed).

About me: I am a soon to be 30 year old female (she/ they) who lives with her two cats. I work as a full time therapist and I have an office outside the home, though some days I do chose to work from home due to convenience. Additionally, I work part time for a local brewery. I spend most nights recharging at home, though I love being part of the community on the weekends. This would include hanging out with friends, going to drag and burlesque shows, spending time outside, traveling up north, and experiencing new bars and restaurants. I am a queer, polyamorous and neurodivergent individual, so any potential roommate would need to be accepting and affirming of my identity.

About the cats: Resident cats include Sage, who is a 5 year old siamese and is a total sweet heart. She sheds a lot, but that’s because she wants you to remember her when you leave the house. Jolene is a 3 year old tabby cat with 3 legs. She is nervous around new people and will probably spend a lot of time hiding at first. After enough time and treats, she learns to trust people and will definitely steal your heart.
