Lauren's room

One bedroom in a 6 room (my bedroom, shared bathroom, living room, dining area, kitchen) house in East Watertown (borders Cambridge). Laundry is in the basement (free), wifi and utilities are all in my name so we’d just have to split it when I get the bills. One parking spot is included, but there’s ample street parking at no cost/no permit required. The entire house is furnished with my stuff so if you brought your own non-bedroom furniture, we’d have to do some redecorating. There’s a TV in the living area, so we’d just trade off when/if we wanted to use it. Move in would be April 1, my lease ends August 1. Room available because my ex moved out, and the space is too large for just me.

I work in Cambridge, MA with a normal 9-5 schedule. I have a cat named Dumpling who hasn’t really met other dogs/cats, but if you have an animal, it’s not a deal breaker as long as Dumpling approves. I’m open to hanging out, but otherwise okay with living separate lives. I’m relatively quiet (although I like to play music when I cook) and clean (although there is cat hair). I like to drink and smoke – no cigarettes. Landlords (married older couple) live upstairs with their adult son and his son (4?) lives there on the weekends. Sometimes you can hear the little one running on the hardwood floor, but it’s not disruptive unless you needed complete and total silence. Super sweet family in general.
