West 47th Avenue

Currently doing some remodeling in the home but will post pictures when dates get closer. The house is not move-in ready - the floors have been torn up to be replaced and we’re in the middle of a few different projects. It will not be ready for tenants until June at the earliest. My (26F) husband is PCSing to a base for a year that I can’t follow him to so I am looking to occupy our two spare bedrooms in the house while he is gone. July 2023 through (tentatively) July 2024 but can be flexible with move-in/move-out dates. No yearly lease contract, the lease/rental will be month to month. Bedroom 1 $450/month 14’ x 10’/135 sq ft fully furnished with twin bed, 32“ TV, dresser, sofa chair, box fan and space heater, shared bathroom with one other occupant (myself) across the hall. Bedroom 2 $950/month 14’ x 13’/175 sq ft fully furnished with queen bed, 50“ inch TV, dresser, loveseat, box fan and space heater, private bathroom with tub and shower across the hall. Bedroom doors have coded locks for privacy. Shared kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, Ninja coffee maker and electric kettle. Additional fridge and chest freezer in garage for extra food storage. Shared living area upstairs with Roku-equipped projector and vinyl player. Shared hang-out space downstairs with treadmill, vertical climber, weight bench and dumbbells, art studio area. Office space with printer and desktop computer available. In-home washer and dryer. Access to garage and shed for extra storage space. One garage parking spot for additional $100/month, other parking spot is outdoors. Front door is coded and has a video doorbell. There are animals in the home, four cats, one small dog, and a gecko. I do occasionally foster cats for a local rescue organization so the number of cats in the home could flex. Roommates will not be expected to take on any pet care responsibilities. All animals have automatic feeders, cats have a self-cleaning automatic litterbox, dog has pet door and access to fenced yard as well as an indoor artificial turf litter box that I will keep clean. Gecko eats live roaches but they will be kept contained and out of sight at all times. You can interact with the animas as much or as little as you want. We also have a resident skeleton, Geoffrey, that keeps watch over the property year-round. I also have a housekeeper that comes in to clean twice a month (she will not enter your rooms unless you want her to) and will contract someone to plow the driveway in the winter (but also own an electric snowblower for unexpected snow dumps). All I ask from roommates is that you clean up after yourself in the common or shared areas, especially the kitchen, and no smoking indoors (vaping is fine, just don’t set off the smoke alarms). I don’t care about wearing shoes in the house. Guests are fine as long as you’re responsible for them. If you have animals of your own, I only ask that you bring them by in advance to meet the current animal occupants to ensure that they all get along and can coexist. 12 minutes from JBER Government Hill gate, 12 minutes from UAA. Rent will be collected through Azibo, all utilities included with monthly rent.

The only other person in the home will be myself, female, 26, married. I currently work for Rover full time and will likely be away from the house quite a bit for housesitting jobs. I’m definitely an introvert, you have to know me for a while before you’ll get very many words out of me. My main hobbies are reading, listening to podcasts, hanging out with my animals, and playing mobile games.
