Taylor's room

Our charming house sits on a quiet dead-end street. It’s a 3 bedroom 2 bath rambler style home. We’ve installed a whole-house water softener system that produces water just as good as Starbucks! Our house is fully stocked with everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. We also have a cleaner who comes and cleans the whole house every two weeks which is included in the cost of your room. Our backyard has a Ramada with seating that protects you from the sun. We also have a comfy hammock and a large backyard and an outdoor fire pit. We have only been living here a year and the backyard is a work in progress. We’re about halfway done with our vision. Bonus points if you love landscaping! Parking is outdoors and uncovered in front of the house.

There are a lot of parking spots in our large driveway. If you have friends visit and need more space you can always park on street. Two parking spots have shade throughout parts of the day.

Blazing fast internet! We try to keep our house eco-friendly so when you stay with us we’d appreciate it if you would feel comfortable recycling and composting with us.

Please note that we have two large friendly dogs and a cat. Our house is LGBTQIA+ friendly.

We have a large communal TCL smart TV that basically has all the streaming platforms logged in and ready to go. We don’t have cable TV. Upon request, we are open to getting a TV for your bedroom.

My partner and I have been together for 6 years and we just bought this house last year! As such we’re still working on getting the backyard to where we want it. We’re both originally from Seattle and we’ve lived all over the world. Taylor lived in Costa Rica for a couple of months and I lived in Paraguay. Together we both lived in Thailand for 3 years. I’m a nurse at a local hospital and Taylor is a Teacher.

We have two large dogs and a cat. All of them are super friendly and love to snuggle. We’ve had roommates off and on while we’ve lived together and enjoy getting to know our roommates. We’re pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Our house is LGBTQ+ friendly.

We have rented out a room in our house before multiple times. We are direct communicators and easy to live with. We don’t mind if you have local friends over for a drink or hangout session. We would also be willing to accommodate friends or family visiting out of town as long as it’s preplanned. Basically, ask us if you have any requests and we’re happy to try to work something out with you. =)
