My wonderful roommate just got an amazing job opportunity and will be moving out at the end of March and I am looking for another wonderful roommate to move in sometime between March 21st and April 15th – I am starting a new lease on April 1 and you would be subleasing from me. Please read below about the space and what I am looking for in a new roommate — please reach out over messenger if you think we’re a match and tell me a little about yourself! The Townhouse It is a sun filled new build town house, located in the Bethesda area of RTP/Durham, NC. We are conveniently located right next to the mailboxes and our balcony looks out on the forest. There is a driveway and 2 car garage plus plenty of street parking. There is a shared guest room. Utilities tend to cost $100-150 each per month. Our development features a dog park and sports field, is a short walk to the Bethesda Park. We have access to our gym and pool (indoor and outdoor) just a 3-minute drive away at a nearby development. We’re a 13 minute drive from RDU airport, 12 minutes from Umstead Park, about 10 minute drive to downtown Durham, 25 minutes from downtown Chapel hill and 25 minutes from downtown Raleigh…so in my opinion, the location can’t get much better than this! Your Space For $1300 you would have a ground floor bedroom (gets lots of natural light), that features bathroom, a private entrance from the garage as well as a small patio and gardening area. In addition, you would have an extra room upstairs that could be used as an office. I think this would be a great set up for someone who works from home so your bedroom can be separate from your office. About You The following qualities are how I would describe myself and are what I am looking for in a roommate – on the quiet side (or at least not trying to throw lots of loud parties), non-smoker or drug user, respectful, easy going, tidy and clean, interested in environmental sustainability (ideally willing for each of us to pay $20 a month for weekly compost pick up).
